Viscous Circle is a delightfully sticky Sound Pack for Syntakt, from sound designer and artist de_patterning. There are 150 glitchy, clicky options to explore, with many providing inspirational takes from the four newest Syntakt machines - SY CHIP, SD ACOUSTIC, BD ACOUSTIC, and HH LAB. It makes for a brand-new palette of sounds to paint with - many of which are short, percussive and extremely versatile - leading you to hatch syrupy sonic masterpieces that you can never, and never want to, relinquish. Viscous Circle is made up of 21 kicks, 12 snares, 26 cymbals/hats, as well as another 43 percussive sounds and 10 FX. There are also 38 melodic options covering leads, pads, basses and more. *As with all Syntakt Sound Packs, the patches can only be loaded onto the appropriate Digital or Analog Machine tracks. Make sure you’re on the right track (in life, and on your Syntakt) and everything will be ok.
They do not, but it’s possible Elektron may release something free again in the future. They did so previously for when SY RAW & SY SWARM were added to Syntakt: Sound Pack: Team Machines for Syntakt because those as post-launch additions technically also don’t have any factory patches in the pre-populated A-E banks.
