RIP Paul Schreiber

Another legend in the synthesizer and modular world passes away. The man behind the MOTM format and Synthesis Technology with E340 Cloud Generator, E370 Quad Morphing VCO and the E520 Hyperion Processor to name a few.

My thoughts to all close to him.

Edit: He was also responsible for The Moog Great Grandmother sounding kinda nice… (MG-1)

RIP some really amazing stuff from this guy, offered a lot of help to others as well, a real loss to the community.

No! I’m getting tired of being at this exact age. All of these people that I’ve gained so much knowledge from and had fun conversations with are all leaving. :frowning: This is a HUGE loss. RIP Paul

I was aware of his modules but not really of the person behind them. Many of the posts of Modwiggler mention long phone calls and how enjoyable it was to listen and learn from him - this unedited interview from Waveshaper TV (the people who made I Dream of Wires) backs that up very well. I could easily have listened to much more.

RIP.
