Hi,
I have just bought a brand new model cycles from Thomann and I wonder how to pop out the plastic tab on the side to access the side power input. It seems like the tab on my unit are not removable ?
Hi,

Well, here’s something interesting. Latest version of the M:C manual has no mention of the battery port, compared to previous versions.
Looks to me like several (perhaps all) mentions of the battery have been removed from the manual.
I wonder if they’re now making the M:C without that feature ?
There was a recall and I think they scrapped the idea completely. Battery handle is no more. You cab look into 3d printed diy solutions or simply velcro a powerbar on the back or smt like that.
Oh definitely, I knew they stopped making the handle. I didn’t know they removed that power port from the M:C itself though. (If that is what @Luigi81 's experience is telling us).
EDIT: And the most recently published firmware still has the battery indicator feature.
Oh, right. It used to be accessible. Only had one here briefly, but yeah, the input on the side was usable. Also I don’t recall any plug…
Sorry, I had things mixed up in my head…not sure what’s going on.
Confirmation from Elektron support :
“The Battery handle is discontinued and more recently manufactured Model-series machines have the side plug removed.”
