Weird DT2 Bug - weird double trigger

Weird bug just appeared and i am afraid my digi is broken:
When i hit a track to record it at one point it suddenly starts playing back the sample again with lowerd pitch when i release the button! Recorded triggers dont play back anymore too.
When i restart it it goes away for a short time and then happens again if i start hitting a track after a few times…

No lfos on!

OS 1.10

My digi kaput?

I don’t think that’s hardware, I would submit a support ticket … try to recall what you might have done up to that point if possible

If you save progress and try in a new project you should see it’s fine … even trying test mode should confirm this

I think that this was reported as a bug, I remember another thread with a similar behavior.

Yeah, there was a bug fix reported in the change log of the prior OS but I do recall someone else who was on the most recent (not newest) OS that said they were still getting it.

What is your firmware version? If you can reproduce it in a new project and your firmware is current, I’d definitely report this.

Forgot to write: new firmware.
Also happened now after some time running some track just randomly stopped playing back its triggers. Even though its unmuted. Didnt touch it at all.
Was playing on the digitone when that happened.

Are you using midi keyboard with it? This reminds me of a bug with the midi auto channel, where if you held down a midi note and changed the channel, the first channel would get a similar buggy double triggering thing. A power cycle would fix it for me.

Had a double triggering problem with my ST a long time ago and found that the power cable not being fully inserted at either the machine or the power point cable to adapter connection(cant remember which) was the issue. Snugging those in fully solved it. Best of luck!
