AH+FX hooked to Midas Mixer

Guys,I would like to hook my AH to a Midas Mixer, I want to use it as end of chain for live performance, I don`t plan to use the compressor tho, mainly I´m interested on bass to mono, saturation , filter etc

Question is: which would be the best way to do this? use it as an insert on the master bus? or run the master output of the Midas thru the AH?

That’s basically the same thing, isn’t it? If you use AH+FX on the master insert, you connect the mixer’s master out to the PA or your interface and the master fader is the last level control, if you put AH+FX last, you connect from AH+FX to PA or interface and AH-FX is the last level control. Not much of a difference. So just a matter of which cables you have handy or expected to connect to PA (assuming the mixer has XLR out, not sure which Midas you have).
