I’m looking to sync other gear I just acquired. I currently have the BeatStep Pro going IN on my DORE THRU 6, coming out the THRU’s to the IN’s of a 0Coast,Crave and the 3 Elektron’s devices. I currently bought a Wirehead Freaq FM, it has CV IN & OUT I also have a Bastl Kastle 1.5 and Volca Modular I want to sync everything to run smoothly. Any recommendations? Thank you.
Depends on:
- syncing BPM or
- syncing BPM, Start, Stop etc as well
Syncing via MIDI is quite easy and it seems that your setup is already done MIDI-wise.
Syncing BPM via CV should be possible using the clock output of your BeatStep Pro and connecting clock or gate inputs of your other gear using cables.
I would recommend to check the manuals of your CV-equipment and to identify how to set them up to receive the clock signal of the BeatStep Pro. Sometimes its only necessary to plug in the cable - and done

I was thinkin that the BeatStep Pro would be my option but then I don’t have those sequencer for my 0 Coast and Crave because there routed MIDI. So I may need another clock source. I also want it all to flow congruent with my Daw which the setup now does.
A USB/MIDI hub such as the mioXM could help you.
