Overbridge - routing tracks to FX block doesn't mute their individual outputs

is this intended behaviour or a bug? i find it super annoying, it means whenever i route a track to the fx block while mixing the individual overbridge channels externally the volume instantly doubles.
i then have to manually mute the mixer channel for any tracks that were sent to the fx block.
this is especially annoying when the fx block routing changes in between patterns within a jam/song.

does anyone know if this has always been this way or if it’s maybe an error introduced in the latest firmware? and if not, are there any workarounds?

Doesn’t it help to remove the track from the mix in the output mix settings on the Syntakt?

but aren’t those settings per-project as opposed to per-pattern?

EDIT: at first i was delighted to find out that there’s in fact a way to set this per pattern, but then…

Tracks that are routed to not send audio to MAIN OUT still send audio on separate outputs
in Overbridge.
