Hi,
Quick question, can I record my livejams with Analog Heat+FX without buying a sound card?
I using a Digitone 2 and I sequence the effects with it on the AH+FX, can I record the main out of the AH+FX somehow thru Overbridge?
When I connect it to Overbridge, it writes as a warning that dont use external midi sequencing on AH+FX, Im conserned about that btw. Also I cant figure out why my Ableton and standalon Overbridge app doesnt see the device, no matter what I do or upgrade. Im kinda sad that I cant get my head around this, I would like to record my livejams however cant figure it out.
Im runnig Mac, OS Monterey
Thank you for the help!
It can definitely do that.
If overbridge doesn’t see the +FX, you need to update the +FX OS to the latest, find that on elektrons site.
You can use overbridge as a plugin and record the output in your DAW, or you can recording in the +FX software by clicking the little tape icon.

Thank you for the answer!
Btw I found out after hours of reading for update and blabla problems and guess what … the USB C to A adapter was the problem, I tried with another one and worked!
Btw I can record now, amazing, however the signal is super high what I getting, do I need to adjust that in the AH+FX settings on the hardware?

Yeah so if you getting super high input from the AH+FX USB, its because the audio rooting menu has a point “fx to usb” and its +30db out of the box!
IIRC there is a setting to reduce the usb level, I believe they added this as low level was a complaint of the older models, I’ll double check tho.
You can look for that (if it exists), turn the input and output down in overbridge, reduce the input sensitivity on the hardware, or use a gain plugin.
once I have all this set up, I save a template in Ableton and don’t need to do it again.
