Free Wavetables for Digitakt2

Free Wavetable Collection Optimized for Digitakt2 Users

This pack is an optimized version of the Free Wavetables collection, specifically tailored for Elektron Digitakt2.
It features wavetables created using fundamental synthesis techniques such as FM (Frequency Modulation), PD (Phase Distortion), and Wave Shaping.

  • Optimized for Digitakt2 – 64-frame structure, tuned to note C
  • Versatile Sound Design – From sharp digital textures to smooth harmonic transitions

Included

  • 285 wavetables(Waveforms taken from Free Wavetables and some new waveforms and extras)
  • 48kHz-32bit-Wav
  • Length per one frame is Note C2

I have created several wavetables for the Digitakt2 and have now refined them into looped samples for better compatibility with general samplers. As a test, I have converted them into single-cycle wave sample chains, structured with 120 frames, making them suitable for use with the Analog Rytm and Model:Samples. I have also uploaded a few test files.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your contributions. You’ve made a lot of content available to elektronauts at no cost, and the explanation of digitakt 2 wavetables (for example) was very interesting.

I don’t have the correct hardware to test this content, but still, I think that it deserves some recognition.

Thank you for your kind words

The newly created sounds can be used both as one-shot samples and as looped waveforms. The wavetable is first shrunk to 8 frames and then expanded to 120 frames through interpolation, resulting in very smooth waveform transitions. Additionally, FFT-based periodic interpolation ensures that the last frame morphs seamlessly into the first frame.

So far, expanding an 8-frame wavetable has proven to be an ideal approach in terms of sound quality when used with Analog Rytm and Model:Samples. Furthermore, since Digitakt allows looping the entire waveform while adjusting the sample start position, it offers more possibilities for creating diverse sounds compared to AR.

Thanks for sharing this! Which option would you recommend for a Digitakt I ?

If you’re using Digitakt 1, I recommend the test files I’ve uploaded. Both formats are set to note C2, so even the wavetables designed for Digitakt 2 can be used as one-shot synth samples without any issues.
