Chemie's lab (my releases of all genres)

I decide to create a thread for my releases so everything is in one place.

Elektronauts is the only place I engage with people and I love it here. Big thanks! I learn a lot here and I have met and interacted with many nice people on here. Other than that I am on YouTube and Instagram (in terms of social media) but I don’t allow comments since at this day and age (also my age) I just… can’t  Ironically, I like when someone responds to my comment on Instagram or YouTube…

This is all the tracks I released in 2024. Depending on the track, I used Minilogue XD (now sold), Softpop 2 (I used it a lot!) and Kobol Expander. My set up is growing…We will see what gets added.
There are completely in the box tracks here too of course. I produce mostly in MPC Software and mix&master in Ableton (Standard). I did produce tracks completely in Ableton too.

I have 20 ready for next year and currently in the process of deciding/scheduling when and where to release them. Pretty much anything I release is available on all platforms and I have my own Bandcamp which I should probably focus more on in 2025.

As you can tell and as I said before in some threads, I don’t deal with loops. I have no unfinished ideas on my computer. I sit down and finish it whether I like it or not. If it comes to that, I delete it completely  This has been a huge learning experience and I know it’s helping my skills.

All the tracks I released in 2024 except Argon and Magnesia are either very close or somewhat close to what is now called “melodic/progressive house”. In 2025, more than half of my tracks will be house and techno (my “techno”).

I can’t really listen to my own tracks once finished but looking back I still love Argon. That was when I was free the most, without any concerns about a genre or acceptance. I think it was just a Friday night…And there is a lot of Softpop 2 there.

Two more are coming out on the 20th and I will update the list.

All mixes and masters are my own. I am responsible for anything good or bad

Here are the last two releases of the year. Ruby is available everywhere. Krypto which is the early, chilled version of it is on only SoundCloud, YouTube and Bandcamp.

Looking forward to 2025!

Here we go with the first release of 2025. Last year, I gave a break for my ears and ended up with this “ambient” track among other things I usually don’t produce. Other than one pad, everything else is Softpop 2 and some extra noise when needed. Available on pretty much anywhere. Honestly I made it for my yoga class

I try to produce a wide range of genres but ambient is not in my interest (I like listening to it though). Most of my attempts end up having kicks, then a bass and then boom it’s another standard track… You can actually hear the bass in this one too. I just couldn’t let it go without any bass  Until next time, I hope it’s an enjoyable track. Being my first attempt, I can see how challenging mixing and adjusting the loudness for something more complicated.

This month’s release. Something different.

Here is an experiment I made using ONLY Ksoloti Gills. I don’t even know what genre you’d call this. I just knew I had to make it fast once I heard a melody. The “melody” is partly from a Ksoloti patch sequence. I built the rest around it.
