So I was on reverb last week and I saw this mk1 OT for sale, looked absolutely mint, seller said sheād never even switched it on.
I thought to myself āa competitively priced OT from a seller with zero feedback on reverb? Bound to be a scamā.
But I bought it anyway, because what if Iāve just found an actual unicorn?
And fuck me if it isnāt an actual bloody unicorn!
Completely untouched, box fresh and ready to hear me cry about my inadequacy every night until I get pissed off and sell itā¦

Had been looking at thickener / stereo widener options and with prices now below Ā£200 It felt like a good time. That aside Itās a delay, Love delays. Intend to work through the presets and device manager. If Itās a keeper Itāll live on an output for jams

meant to buy a workhorse reverb+delay pedal but got sucked into the Microcosm hype. not really sure what my plans are but it really is fun. i get why people are cynical about itās āinstant ambient machineā sort of feel but hopefully iāll use it just as one more tool. some sounds from my first morning with it:

iām running my Take 5 through it but honestly you could use it with a kazzoo, a rubber band, or maybe even an Elektron Analog Four, and youād make plausible ambient music
