all I want is the LFO capability machinedrum has, send the LFOs from any track to any other track you want, so you can use 8 LFOs from tracks 5678 and use them all to dogpile track oneās sound source
you get a lot more mileage out of extensive control of one sound.
the FX track is freakin genius, why not a FX āmachineā? so you can bus tracks through an unused track for its filter and drive. kind of like OT neighbor and thru tracks. Iād bus all the digital tracks thru one analog track, then analog thru another analog track, double decker distortion, then the filter on the first bus will screeeeeeeeam

Like no other company. Thatās one of the benefits of spending a little more first place. Tanks build quality and good resale value seals the deal every time.
I recently got rid of a lot of other stuff, but for above reasons, I just canāt part with the Elektrons. Although sitting more or less on the whole lineup, things have come a little redundant.
But: MD is MD, ST is another beats. Both do fantastic percs and way more. What do I need the AR for then? Wellā¦ somebody pls tell me. Will keep anyway.

According history of elektron(see legacy), if st was a planned 3rd of trinity, it should released around 19-20.
But all above was just my guess.
Hopefully , digitone and syntakt will catch up new standards of dt2 soon!

At what time?
For the next Syntakt II , i would love to see a Stereo Width function , maybe in the AMP pageā¦ because , spending one LFO just for space movement with PAN as destination, lets only the second LFO for sound design.
A third LFO would be awesome also.
Also , adding the possibility to use some of the digital tracks as polyphonic tracks.
Also, create 3 Ā« performance Ā» knobs , usable as WM, AT or BC controller, with the possibility to assign them to the midi channel you want, and the possibility to enable or disable a Ā« TO MIDI OUT Ā» function.
Also, the possibility to save my pattern as a SOUND KIT, or a SEQ KIT.

This is speculation for 2030 right? Syntakt just launched , there are notable empty spaces in many areas and more machines alluded to by the dev team. I donāt think Elektron would do a Polyend style brand suicide by launching a new one next year.

Now that we have a new Digitone and Digitakt on that new plattform with 128 Steps of sequencing, do you thing Elektron will drop a syntakt MK2?
Would make sense for themā¦
I donāt think it would be the same sort of machine in the same form, since itās not just digi-based.

IIRC the Analog Heat updated quite quickly, maybe 1.5 year between mki and mkii, and this was to get it inline with the new UI and design language, and version of Overbridge. So it can happen. However I think the recent Syntakt OS is a software way of giving those customers confidence nothing is coming soon, or at least, bringing it into line with some other new features such as page loop and Euclidean. The only thing I could think that really differs here on the new boxes is 128 step, but if you have another newer Elektron, you can always midi sync this to get Syntakt in the same time range.
