Recently Disabled/Retired USA Military Officer Career Veteran and spent last three years completing an all hardware synth home studio post-career, as have an extensive background in synthesis as well as being a published writer and visual artist/painter. Learned synthesis on orig. Korg MS20 back in 1982, and a Prophet 600 and Korg DW8000 a few yrs after, played cover bands with fellow military personnel for three decades and toured with Tops In Blues, the USAF elite multi-media talent touring show for a few years when not babysitting nukes and been hooked since on synthesis.
Injuries and such made me decide to finally retire and do music full time as a form of healing/frequencies, experimenting.
Music has been proven to be a great thing for military or otherwise related PTSD and chose ambient/experimental soundscapes as the genre to compose in as well as Berlin School and Style compositions.
My Analog Four is a year new to me and knew upon it's release I really wanted one and now only wish I had purchased it earlier. Love it and will freely admit I am not accustomed to Elektron Way or Philosophy, thus a steep but rewarding learning curve and have a MonoMachine Mk1 as well to learn. Have quasi-similar 'boxes' among my synths such as Quasimidi Polymorph and a Radikal Technologies Spectralis 1 and 2.
