Not long ago, i was in a pretty bad state of mind and i needed something to healthy.
So i did what every reasonable human would do:
I bought myself a MIDI keyboard.
I started to make music the first time in over a decade in order to get in a better state. I quickly realized the advantage of real knobs and faders, so got myself the cheapest synthesizer i could find those days (the KORG Volcas serie) and of course i got addicted very quickly to “real” hardware Synthesizer, Drum machines, Sequencers and then finially the beauty of modular synthesizers.
What started as a harmless hobby tuned into love story and ended into a obsession.
I remember like it was yesterday when i said i will never EVER buy more then one small case and a handful of modules, because i ain’t nut’s! Yeah right… I should have knew it better, all those people who warned me.
They were right.
The Gear acquisition syndrome is a real thing, and there is or a reason why it’s called the “Eurocrack”… Anyway i now the happy owner of a f…ing sweet modular system and a few other “toy’s”.
I don’t even start to talk about my fetisch for analog filter and oscillators
I make music mainly for myself and maybe for a handfull of hippies.
I do this only as a hobby to keep meself mentally sane and to keep a balance to my other passion’s.
