Andrew Lin

Second Violin

Taiwanese-American violinist Andrew Lin is a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate at Boston University. He has previously served as an orchestral violinist with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Boston, and the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently, he works as a Boston Philharmonic Orchestra Teaching Fellow for the Crescendo Music Education Program. His principal teachers include Bayla Keyes, Luci Lin, Peter Zazofsky, Robbie Merfeld, Lina Bahn, Martin Chalifour, Henry Gronnier, Bill Barbini, Doug Miner, and Yuan Chen. Apart from his violin performance pursuits, he enjoys reading manga, watching anime, everything related to cats and dogs, exploring and savoring good food, and playing ping pong with friends.
