My question is simple, is there a way to controll the Program Change parameter on the midi pages of the DT1 externally without actually triggering a Pchange in the DT? I want to use a midi controller that goes through the DT to change patches on my Access Virus without it changing the pattern on the Digitakt.
Is there a way to do this?

What do you mean by ‘midi controller that goes through the DT’? You mean it goes to the Midi In of the DT, and then you go out of the DT’s Midi Thru port to the Access Virus? Or from the Midi Out port?
If I understood your question right, you should be fine if your controller sends the pgm change to some other midi channel than Digitakt midi auto channel (you can change your auto channel in the midi settings).
And you can set p-locks for program change on midi tracks of the Digitakt if you want to sequence your program changes.
