Hi, Just Bought DT1 and updated it to 1.52, I factory reseted it, choose the OB one the USB Config and downloaded the latest OverBridge 2.13.4 and it still won’t show up on OverBridge.
I’m using Macbook Air M1 upadted to the latest Sequia 15.3.1 and the DT1 do show up on the latest Transfer App which i upadated the Device Firmware with so it isn’t a connectivity Issue.
I tried to use the Standalone OB, the VST3 and the AU without a success.
Please help me to try and get it running.
There’s a USB Config menu in Settings
If possible/supported, there are normally three options
Set as USB MIDI
Set as USB MIDI/AUDIO
Set as OB
check if the last mode is set - hmm, well you said you had, so i am unsure
as i mentiond, it is.
it is the first option on the DT which says OVERBRIDGE and i did chose it.
I Think that i may found the problem, i need to allow Overbridge Engine to Install the USB Extension Driver, i Just can’t seem to find where do i approve it.

Found it under General in System Settings (not in Privacy & Security as Suggested by the OB Engine), Problem Solved!
recent macos releases have shuffled all the setting around to be more like ios … in practice these settings are rather subtly indicated ime … they’re not as obvious any more

Shouldn’t overbridge install and not need the user to hunt for tick boxes and settings ?
I’ve not done it with any other software - ever - in decades of use of a mac.
I know it’s not your fault , if you got a dollar for everyone of these threads you’d be rich.
It’s a Mac thing, they just stop you doing anything risky (by their terms) … I’m unsure it’s within Elektron’s gift to make their installation((or certain small/deep aspects of it) avoid being subject to this ‘caution’
You get asked to approve USB devices on the most recent Macos releases … it feels OTT for something trivial like a hub for sure

Perhaps the info could be more easily accessible, put in the readme file or on faq’s On elektron site. … assuming people look there … how to install
