I’m usually extremely careful with my gear. When i opened the DN case today, i saw that some keys got some blue marks!
Did it ever happen to anyone? I didn’t spill anything on it. I’ll consider any advice to clean the keys.
Maybe some of the suggestions in this thread would be helpful to consider. Are they sticky (tactile, not stuck down) at all?
Don’t use any solvents. Even isopropyl could remove the coating. You could pop them out with a guitar pick and maybe use a gentle soap and water but you might want to not mess with it at all depending on the current age and condition of the “soft touch” rubberized plastic coating.
Figuring out where the blue came from should probably be your first priority. Leaky ink pen? Case material? Figure it out so it doesn’t happen again.
Is it really blue marks or transparency with the black behind (so, missing paint) ?
I’ve had this happen with aftermarket cases that are similar to ‘Analog Cases’. Never had it happen with the actual brand Analog Cases but a couple cheaper options that are similar in design did this. Happened to my OP1 which was very upsetting. Not sure if you are using a case like that but beware.
Damned, i’m using an Analog Case.
Where is the blue colour coming from though? Maybe due to heat?
