Hello,
I have DN and DT and use overhub to integrate with my old Ableton live 9. I can’t use all four potential outputs in this setup.
Can anyone tell me if all four will be available with an updated version of Ableton?
Thanks much

Hi,
What’s the spec and OS of your computer?
The CPU is an i5-1035G1 / 1.20 GHz, windows 11
OK on macOS which is what I use you can create an aggregate device of audio devices. I’m not really sure that is possible on Windows.
This might help https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/aggregate-audio-devices-and-drivers-for-pc-and-mac/
Also I don’t thing the surround panner was available before Live 10 Surround Panner | Ableton.
Thanks Matt,
I think you’re right about Ableton, I will need to update, and now I know there will be another step. With the aggregate device you managed to get outputs on multiple elektron units working?
I haven’t specifically tried it with the Digitone and Digitakt on the Mac. I can try if that helps ? Sadly I don’t have Windows boxes to test with.
If you can spare the time to try that would be much appreciated. If it’s not possible I will drop the idea and get a four output interface.
Thanks Matt!
No problem. Might take me a few days.
Yeah I use an original Thunderbolt one of these Clarett+ 4Pre | Focusrite
Going to four of these PreSonus Eris 3.5 Gen 2, Studio… PreSonus Eris 3.5 Gen 2, Studio Monitor Speakers, Pair, 3.5 Inch, 2-Way, Powered Desktop Speakers For Multimedia, Gaming, Studio-Quality Music Production, 50W Power : n/a: Amazon.co.uk: Musical Instruments & DJ
Hardly the most professional set but I gives me fun
I’d been trying to do it for a while but it was only getting an M1 Apple MacMini that gave me enough compute power to do it on all the tracks coming from the DN and DT via Overbridge.
OK sorry I took so long. So on macOS it does look like I can create an Aggregate Device and put the Digitone and Digitakt devices in it.
I can then reference the different 4 outputs in Ableton Live 12 and send different audio tracks to them.
Ah nice it can be done. Thanks a bunch Matt!
Yeah seems that way. I wouldn’t say I did exhausted testing but the basic set up did what you wanted
This was done on a 2020 M1 MacPro 16GB RAM.
