FX-Track behavior when reloading Ptn

I had the idea of sending my Digitone II to the input of my Syntakt and then sending all the tracks and the input from the Syntakt to the FX track in order to have a filter and an overdrive for everything. In principle, this works as planned, for example, I can filter out the low end and send the entire FX track to the reverb & delay to create build-ups. To do this, I save the pattern in the temp area with func-yes and end the build-up with func-no.

However, the FX track only resets with func-no if at least one track is sent from the syntakt to the FX track and only if its sound is triggered. In other words: if only the Digitone II is sent to the FX track via the input, func-no has no direct effect. Only when I touch the knob for the filter frequency on the Syntakt does it jump back to the saved state. Is this behavior normal? Can this be changed? Sometimes I would like to work exclusively on the Digitone II and use the FX track as a master filter, overdrive and for delay & reverb.

It also seems to work to add a trigger with an env depth of 0 to the FX track to force the reset on the first trigger (or on every trigger) for example. Green triggers don’t seem to work, even when I p-lock FLT.T and AMP.T.

Can the FX track somehow be reset to the saved state via func-no without having a trigger on the syntakt at all? I would like everything to be reset the moment I press func-no and not only when a trigger point on the syntakt is reached. If this is not possible, is there a better workaround than putting down 16 trigs on the fx-track with an env depth of 0 to reset the filter, reverb and delay to the temp saved state the moment I pres func-no?

Apologies if this question has already been answered, i couldn’t find it using the search function.

You can parameter-lock a “home” state on a trig and audition it with [trig] + yes from grid mode to reset those parameters.

You could also fill the sequencer with these under the Fill condition, so that the FX reset will happen when you press FILL on Syntakt…

Thank you very much for your input! I will try the home state solution and see how it works for me.
