Happy New Year, everyone! 
I hope youāre starting 2025 feeling inspired and ready to make some noise!
I couldnāt find any official mention of Jamuary 2025 yet, but this community has always been a great source of motivation for pushing creative boundaries, so I thought I can start, and Iād get the ball rolling.
Jamuary is all about setting aside time each day (or as often as you can) to jam, create, experiment, and share your musical sketches or finished pieces - whatever form that might take! Whether youāre noodling on a synth, exploring modular patches, jamming with friends, or even recording field sounds, everything is welcome here.
Feel free to post your daily or occasional recordings in this thread throughout the month. If you upload on Instagram, Facebook and others, remember to tag with #Jamuary2025 and #Jamuary so others can discover and follow along! As always, donāt feel pressured to record every day - this should be about enjoying the process!
Letās celebrate creativity, share our progress, and enjoy the process together. I canāt wait to dive into this thread hearing what you all come up with, and discover new fantastic artists again!

Day 1. Ringing in the New Year
edit: I accidentally posted here instead of on another forum Iāve been more present in, but I figure why not. I see a few familiar āfacesā from last year and I had a lovely time of it then. A big part of Jamuary for me is taking the time to listen to everyoneās submissions, so Iāll do my best, given that Iām now taking in two threads worth.

Happy new year folks! Thereās no way iāll be able keep to a daily upload or recording, but this year I want to see if I can spend a few minutes every day doing something music related. And I always love listening to other peopleās. 1st of Janās effort - something using Korg iM1, digitones and S4 and then applied a bit (too much probably) overdrive in bitwig.

I tried keeping it simple and in the spirit of a jam rather than composition. I recorded an upright bass but removed it in the end since it clashed too much. Although listening back, I kinda miss that low end.
