I’m testing an external MIDI sequencer of which I can’t filter outgoing data. Unfortunately the ‘Mute’ settings of the track buttons are ignored when Sample receives MIDI data externally.
Is there a way to get Mute functioning?
Mute muted the internal sequencer, not incoming Midi which has higher priority. It’s possible that devices played on the device have an even higher priority than MIDI (can’t recall)
But, you could try holding down the respective track itself to act as a Mute of sorts, tap gently to minimise its volume and it ‘might’ block the incoming Midi until you release… Not ideal, but a small token that might be of use, if it works
