Leaked from Reverb - I can’t guarantee it’s true but seems like it.

Dreadbox has gotten this far by having a particular vision rather than making please-everybody devices. I’d rather they keep doing their thing their way.
Nothing groundbreaking, but doesn’t have to be. Any images? Curious whether they settle for something that resembles “regular” poly desktops, so far they offer either way smaller or bigger options.
Yeah, if you google Dreadbox Artemis, you’ll find the store(s) that leaked it. Don’t want to post links here but it’s easy enough to find if you want to see for yourself.
Honestly same. Still excited for the official reveal though, it seems like it’s kind of a polyphonic Typhon so I expect it’ll sound incredible.
It’s cool each effect has a dedicated slider, but shared sliders for envelopes would be a dealbreaker if I was in the market for one. Looks like it’s as small as the Nymphes, I’d prefer it if they made it just a bit higher or broader so they can add two ADSR sliders.
Sounds cool though and should make a lot of people happy!
wasnt their last synth ‘extremely expensive-o-vision’. …£2750 ish.
i suspect it has that tiny typhon style screen with 5 x sliders to deal with the menu diving.
at $1399 theres a lot of competition , teo-5 etc… plus 2nd hand market synths … but theyre successful and know their market.
Uh I‘m in the market for a polysynth, anything Dreadbox makes is interesting to me…if this features some variety of their usual thick OSCs with wild filter combo, I‘m all in.
The Dreadbox Abyss was $1200 for a 4-Voice desktop polysynth in 2017 - they’ve always had products at a range of prices. If anything I think the Nymphes was made to be particular inexpensive by having a limited UI and inexpensive slider pots with no knob caps.
This looks very promising. I absolutely loved the sound on the Nymphes but just couldn’t get by with the save structure and lack of visual feedback for modulations. It’s a fine preset machine but programming it clicking through the various sub menus with that knob was rough. This looks to have addressed that and added the typhon effects.
