I see but it makes no sense. Maybe it was a coding difficulty. Hope we’ll have selected tracks fully excluded from Ctrl All.
Option ! (1 more.)
Not sure it would suit everyone.
Survey ?
And if selected track was excluded, how to display values ? Highlighted temporary values while you hold the Trk button maybe…
I don’t know if this is a bug but in the wavetone with default settings, but a changed trig note, when repeatedly pressing the trigger key I occasionally randomly get a note one octave up.
@Zac I couldn’t reproduce it.
Other settings in other tracks, voices, arp, etc ?
(Test in a new pattern)
That’s driving me crazy… (well, I’m exaggerating a bit haha). If you turn the keyboard mode on, it should stay as is until you turn it off. Must be a bug.
DN2 running firmware 1.00A
If I enable CC control for 4 values on MIDI tracks, and save project, when I next open the project all 8 values are enabled. I have tried this repeatedly and it always enables CC values that were disabled, which can lead to some strange results depending on what CC’s are set on the CC selection page.
For now I just make sure that all 8 CC values are mapped to relevant commands on the external MIDI devices.
I had quite a few voices allocations problems. There is definitely something buggy. I’m trying to find the cuprit(s), I could reproduce bugs without indentify cause. @ThomasJ, @_Niko…any clue ?

Yesterday I played one track, some notes weren’t played in the voice allocation cycle. I could see which notes weren’t played in the Voice menu. I was a single patch in a new pattern. Had to reboot.

In Preset mode, last played Presets are played in a round robin way if you play unused slots. Interesting though.
- Another weird one : one arp played by other arps notes, apparently randomly. No track layering !
Track 15 : arp
Track 12, 14 : arps with level 0
Track 1, 2, 5, 6 : Drums
No layering.
Track 15 only react to speed, range, mode and offset don’t work, Notes edit doesn’t work properly.
Unmuting tracks totally change Track 15 behavior.
Managed to find a crash bug, happened to me many times today and finally figured out a way to reliably reproduce the issue.
When using an external midi controller on auto channel, a preset with arp enabled, hold a trig and set some notes for that trig, causes the system to crash about 1 in 10 times, likely requires specific timing or something, but it’s been very easy to get it to happen both accidentally and deliberately. Haven’t managed to get it to happen with arp disabled or without using an external midi controller.
Good one. You’ve reached Elektron support I guess?
I have a pattern with only 1 trig that systematically crashes.
Don’t know why. Several notes entered in note edit, arp, that’s all.
I tried their contact form, but it’s kinda terrible, only one line of text and no way to attach extra media.
Unsure if it’s a bug but problematic for me, holding a trig in grid record and sending a note on auto channel adds the note as expected, however it also plays the note and interrupts the sequence. It should only add the note and not play until it’s triggered by the sequence if holding down a trig in grid record mode in my opinion. I’m pretty sure that’s how it behaves on A4 when using the mini keyboard.
Yes but they answered me.
Type your text elsewhere and copy paste.
Will be fixed.
Arp on ? It behaves like this in note edit mode, arp on.
Forget live show input as is…
Ahh yes, happens with both arp enabled or not.
I have a live show tomorrow
I raised this issue during testing, i think there is awareness of the irritation that live sequencing shouldn’t always play the entry, especially in a note entry context, more so if assembling a chord - i think(hope) something will address this so such tasks can be performed discreetly whilst playing
Potential bug I’ve noticed with the D2. The sequencer won’t run. I hit play and nothing. No tracks are muted. The lights don’t move along the trigs like it should when playing. Any ideas?
This has happened twice now. The first time it resolved when I switched it on and off but not this time.
I reloaded the project and it resolved. Not great tho. I was n’t pushing it partcularly hard
on perform kit reload I get a loud audio blip from one of the loaded tracks . makes it useless as is
I get a note from track 1 sound. Seems to happen if global or pattern mutes are off too … only exception I can get if all pattern mutes are activated. but then there is no sound from anything ha
yeah same happens when loading any kit
Stuck note ?
External midi stuck note ?
Voice allocations ?
Interesting to watch Voice menu the see which tracks are used…
