Has anyone managed to make it work? I installed it, but when I open it it says I need to allow it to install usb drives under security and privacy.
But if I go in security and privacy there’s nothing (usually there’s a “permission” section in those cases that doesn’t pop up with overbridge tho).
ive never seen that before… or the driver extention on/off …
i just clicked driver extension and ‘overbridge installed’ popped up…
perhaps that cropped up with the release version…
anyone noticed the Transfer should be 1.8.11 but the download goes to 1.8.10, and the direct link for 1.8.11 not working?
I want to upgrade the OS but Transfer not seeing the rytm and the “new version available” constantly at the top
if you upgrade OB before you upgrade the firmware on any elektron device it won’t connect through usb until its upgraded to the latest. On Win and OSX…
I’ve done the same with my M2 Air. Updated the firmware, installed OB, enable the Elektron item in Login Items, enable USB CFG>OVERBRIDGE on the DTII, uninstalled OB, rebooted, re-installed OB–still no connection to OB. wtf
I finally found out how to activate the overbridge driver in Sequoia. Apple moved the driver extension settings away from the Security and Privacy tab. Go to Settings -> General -> Login Objects & Extensions. There are now 2 things on this Screen: First the “Allow in the Background” section, someone else posted above, which should contain the “Elektron Music Machines MAV AB” object. This should be activated. Second, if you scroll down on this screen there should also be a section called “Extensions”, one entry should say “Driver Extensions” or something like this. Click the information (i) button, there you can activate the overbridge driver.
