Where can you recreate an account like they ask you to?
Go to elektron.se -> Account -> Create New Account (make sure to use old/same email if you previously had account). Do it on desktop, dunno why but it is unavailable on mobile.
It started working fine again about an hour after I was posting here. It’s probably all ok now.
New website maybe signifies new product drop very soon.
You should re-use your existing credentials to re-establish your existing account on the new platform.
If it’s glitchy when you try it may be worth waiting a while for the traffic to die down.
It should work by using your existing credentials so it may require patience to get there, probably best to avoid creating a second account

I can confirm, also can’t download my purchases. But I assume this is because things are still being updated as I don’t see my registered devices yet either (would be good to have a wider warning or note somewhere on the site to inform users).
One thing I haven’t seen mentioned here is a lack of regions that existed before:

I’m trying to download Soft Spoken from within my account and keep getting a 403 error message.
I’m experiencing the same issue. I tried downloading it as well, but Chrome is telling me that ‘the file was not available on the website.’ Does anyone know what’s going on?

I cant reset my password for my account on Elektron.se, says invalid email or username.
Can’t contact support because you have to log in with your email.
I have an account and several machines registered, so im slightly confused.
Anyone had a similar problem ?
you need to sign up again with the same email, I think there’s still some issues with that though
Could someone please post the link to the account creation page. I can only get to the login screen and there aren’t any other options.
I’m on a mobile connection, I know the site doesn’t work from a mobile device so I tried to create a new account on my laptop (which is online through my phone) but the site still sees I am on mobile.
I Do not have a land-line.
Any tips on how to re-activate my original account?
(Except going somewhere with a land-line)

Hi, I might try clearing cookies and temporary internet files from the browser on both your mobile device and laptop, then try to access the site again, only just from your laptop this time.
If the internet connection is a mobile hotspot, I can’t see that being a reason to disallow site access. You’ll need to create an all new account but use the same email address as before so that the information between the old and new accounts can be cross referenced.
You can also email elektron directly to support@elektron.se if you need to report this issue and ask for help.
The original accounts still exist in some digital form, but everything since the site rebuild is new, so I think what happens is they will only link the old account and new account when someone contacts them with a problem. I’m just guessing about that last part, but it sounded like that’s how they intend to handle the transition.

Past weeks I read it all and tried it all without any luck.
I Just won’t see the ‘Create New Account’ option.
Maybe the site will work better in the near future, and maybe I will contact Elektron about it like you advised.
Is this a netbook or a laptop? When you go up to the 3 dots, is there an option for view mobile site or view full webpage somewhere in the list? I’m wondering if this is not a full browser, which indeed may have trouble fully supporting the site depending on what web protocol it uses. I’m not super knowledgeable about compatibility but I’ve had similar issues in the past, only on mobile devices which didn’t have a complete browser.
