Oh ma gAaaaaahhhhhhhhwwwddd!!
The Digitakt is dead, long live the Diigitakt Looks like a great glowup! Congrats Elektron!
.
Fun fun
This is what I want to know, as well! Big, big miss if these are not usable over MIDI.
Anyways, huge congrats on the release!!
Does it say anything about manual slicing? Or retrigs in the midi tracks?
What is max sampling time?
the people demand retrig on midi tracks! I’d just read the manual but the website isn’t loading lol
Eeeeeakkkkkkk!!! Need it. The Syntakt remains outside the studio most of the time, and my Digitakt has become the “mind” (I guess we can’t call it brain anymore see the meh-words thread) of my studio (aside from my own mind of course). The extra tracks will be very helpful!
I’ll wait until it’s in stock everywhere to get one, as I’ll be “ok” in the meantime, but definitely on my list now.
Available for order at Long & McQuade here in Canada. Just got back from the store and ordered one already
Congrats!! Great upgrade. One question, are they using the same rubber coating buttons in this version?
Does anyone know if the DT2 has the mod matrix from syntakt and digitone? Like can I assign velocity to different parameters?
Related, is the user manual up yet? I can’t get the Elektron website to load.
Someone said in another thread 66 seconds. Not sure if true though.
OK page loops and “prepare mutes” are bad ass. and the latter because EVERY Elektron machine before the Digi’s did that. finally they fixed it!
Would love to know about the quantized sampling capabilities. Can I sample like I can on Octatrack, using pattern start to initiate recording?
66 seconds in the Loopop vid. Definitely too little for recording a track…
