salut, bon matin
And his name is Ton Verk
Maybe for distracting I should watch some ST videos by @DaveMech
I not an Elektron expert but how long does it take for products to come to the shops after a leak like this?
I don’t think there was exactly leak like this before… (if it is real )
There is only one Ton and his last name is Roosendaal
You are right and digitakt might sell well for 999€ but the higher you go the faster you loose Customers it is not linear. And shure if they only want to sell a few of these they could sell it for prices like the other flagships. I don‘t think they will.
Two maybe three
I hope this is fake… as an A4 lover having a keyboard on the left hand side is just so weird/wrong.
Don’t most people play these keys with their right hand??
I’m pretty sure most previous leaks that included images of the product and weren’t just a vague description were accidentally(?) leaked from retailers that knew about the product before it was officially announced.
This seems to be much earlier in the product cycle. If the leak is real then it could easily be a few months from release. This could be a prototype, the final layout could change, and it’s very unlikely that the OS is finished.
That or it’s all a conspiracy and Elektron is behind the leaks to get gear nerds excited.
Unless you really like bass
Yeah, thought I’d changed the word ‘certain’ to ‘probable’, as nothing’s certain.
If keys are on my right I’ll use my right hand, if they’re on the left I’ll use my left hand
Using both hands is pretty standard for most musical instruments.
good point
As a guitar/bass player i love playing keys with my left hand.
On A4 it pisses me off having keys on the right, I barely use the keys on there though, mostly using a midi keyboard or launchpad to control it.
We could start now… You go first
well, I’d wait for the time when the resources are not so limiting. 64 step limit is pretty bad for me and I think that it does not require much additional power/memory (it’s cheap nowadays)
I need the right hand for the encoders right side of display.
That mini micro tiny keyboard i would just use to quick select notes.
If I want to play keys I play on a keyboard, not on candy like (useful anyway) buttons.
