Dark mode/light mode bug?

anybody else havin theme preferences altered here?

i’m all about dark mode but elektronauts has been white all day. my preferences are set for dark theme and switching to ‘light theme’ just got me back to dark.

website update bug perhaps?

Several people (not me) having this issue in the other main thread regarding the site update. Don’t think that there was a resolution at present but not sure, haven’t been following it too closely.

Hi Nauts! On Wednesday the 29th of January we will do some maintenance work that might make the forum unresponsive at times. Elektronauts has been dragging in terms of software updates. Dark / light mode was not sticking for me either on iOS or macOS Safari using the checkbox or the icon click method. What did work is disabling content blockers, using the icon to switch to dark mode (needs a refresh in light mode, then switch to dark mode). Reenabling content blockers after this and it’s saying put. Bit of a dance, but it worked.

You’ll have to dig around a bit, honestly not sure what the current status is. If you’re on safari like zenpunkhippy, then that solution in the second quote might work.
