ChatGPT: not here, please!

What could go wrong? Smiley

I don’t see neither. Translation is perfectly ok.
I was talking about long AI-generated text out of a prompt, of course.

I think mods should have a lot of discretion to remove posts without people getting pissy about it.
That includes AI content; and it includes human-generated content that is so uninspiring that it could be written by AI.
You have my blessing to nuke any posts I make that don’t sound like they were written by a human.

As a side note, I totally agree with the OP,

…but is there also a way to prevent all the AI LLMs from reading the forum posts, or make it difficult in some other way ?

Uh, there’s a chance the meme threads will be full of actually funny meme’s again?

Yeah, it’s all noise and drowns out effort-signal.

I don’t know what sauce you’re drinking, or which threads you’re talking about, but I haven’t seen any such posts yet (can’t recognise?). Granted, I don’t read all threads…

But, how could you mods identify such posts and ensure you’re not censoring an ape by confusing one of us for an algorithm?

The “content” doesn’t have to prove anything.

If people can’t tell hallucinating LLM or bad model from a low effort post, make better posts i guess?

Have you read the e25 thread? :upside_down_face:

Same rules apply to generative music?

I kid.

Agree with the mod completely. Let’s keep it all human in here.

this is discriminatory towards bots, they too have the right to express themselves

Not everyone is going to see this post months from now but I guess that’s moderator business on how you plan to moderate.

Anyway, because I’ve done some posts with ChatGPT, I’d like clarification on the nitty gritty details of this rule. Like when the content is explicitly demonstrated as AI generated like here or here in the form of satire.

Here’s the real noodle-twister: were any of the replies to this thread GPT generated?
