Something like Real Estate, Belle & Sebastian, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, DeVotchKa a little, and all that sort of folksy indie stuff. Didn’t listen to too much of that back then, but it definitely is a sound of that time.

Same, I grew up listening to Andrew Bird and Sufjan Stevens, Shugo Tokumaru, so this sound really resonated with me

Whole debut record is really great.
This is like a strange amalgamation of shoegaze, pop punk and dark ambient electronic music. I love it.
saw her touring this release at the Knitting Factory in LA…it was so freakin good
