For someone who wants a coloring / end of chain box this is now very interesting as it makes up for some of the shortcomings of the analog heat. For instance, i chose oto boum for my end of chain box, but I miss the headphone output, and eq. Now this has a compressor (albeit digital), and it becomes more of a all in one box. Well done, although I don’t think I’ll be needing it, and I also think current heat MK2 owners won’t be happy haah.

With 3 LFOs, this thing has like 2 more LFOs than what’s needed in any occasion on any machine.

It seems pretty interesting to me. Sure I dont NEED it, but also really like that it has OB integration. If it has Total Recall, it’s very tempting as a master FX box for my setup.
I wish it had the regular 8 knob setup like the other digis, as changing flow looked like a lot of steps, but without hands on it’s hard to judge.

I’m curious to know if there is an actual hardware change compared to the MKII (except the knobs and screen obviously).
Somehow looks like a software update sold as a new box, but well I don’t know 🤷

This was TOTALLY unexpected.

It’s doing a lot more so I’d be surprised if it doesn’t have more processing power - AH doesn’t have any digital effects so it’s essentially a multi effects pedal and AH combined. Price isn’t too crazy when that’s considered. I am tempering my expectations with the compressor though it feels like they might have missed the mark a bit on it but I’m remaining open minded until I’ve seen a more thorough breakdown and demos
