Ignoring the non-Elektronaut vibe of your postā¦ youāre asking this question when thereās a lot of movement in the Akai and MPC world.
Itās not a toy by any means, itās one of the few fully standalone music workstations on the market, and itās a vast eco system.
Thereās tons of info and help about using it here, and thatās what the search function is for.
At this point, the MPC thread on Elektronauts would/could justify having its own dedicated area, as itās bigger than a thread at this point, and full of unique Elektron user perspectives on it.

Wow so edgy, this toy is my main instrument and daw, center space on my desk as it has to look cool during my Teams call for my day job, so I can show my colleagues that this ex punk is true to his hiphop legacyā¦
Or maybe, just maybe, a new big update has been announced so people are chomping at the bit to get any sort of info, which unfortunately only comes from shitty YTubers.

I use a light paint brush to get some of it off. Thatās inexpensive.

Iām wondering what kind of format the plugins are in the MPC. What is the basic framework for the OS? Linux? Windows?

Do you think a plugin-wraper could integrate vsts into the MPC?
A lot of the air plugins on mpc are ported vsts, I donāt see the the os being opened up to third party stuff unless itās tightly controlled thoughā¦

I donāt get the salty attitude fella, looking back at some of your previous posts on this thread it seems to be a common denominator, why come and ruffle feathers if you donāt like the level of discourse? You donāt seem happy with either the mpc or us folks chatting about it, maybe youād be better served just muting the threadā¦
