I decided against getting it for now, even if I want that big screen. Since I could live with it till now, I’ll continue to do so. I have some money saved for gear though, so that decision was really hard. M8 is at this point my most used device.

I’m am both really pleased to see this evidence of the (well deserved!) hype around the M8 and sorry for those who are finding it frustrating to snag one. Have faith! It’s not a limited edition or anything. There will be more.

I had one in my cart in Feb and decided against it as I was getting all I needed from my model 1.0, but for the past 2 months I kept thinking how nice it would be to have a built in mic and went ahead and hurt my bank account this morning. I plan on using both M8s at the same time, one for 8 tracks of drums and the other for vocals and synths.

I went over two years almost solely using the M8. It’s only recently I’ve got back to other gear, which is a nice change. But yeah, the M8 became my go to device as well…

I tried to write in the m8 tracker discord, but i don’t knoe how it works.
I have the Faderfox UC4 connected with trs midi type B, but when I do the command for midi assignments, mu faderfox doesn’t send anything, or the m8 doesn’t recieve anything.
I bought type B mini trs adapters in amazon (and C, just in case) but I’m not having luck with any of the cables.
My faderfox is working correctly with ableton and another hardware gear.
I have a gig soon and I’m pulling my hair off.

The M8 uses type A as per the manual. So you will need some kind of adapter to in between. There are different options to achieve this.
